Welcome

Falling Waters – Frank Lloyd Wright Architect

This National Historic Landmark is in southwest Pennsylvania.  Designed in 1935 by the famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright and built between 1936 and 1939.  Fallingwater was a mountain retreat for the Edgar J. Kaufmann family surrounded by the WPC’s 5,000 acre Bear Run Nature Reserve.  In 1963 the Kaufmann family entrusted The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy to maintain and preserve Fallingwater. This is the place where you can come to feel like you are in touch with nature. Doing so can help you reflect in many aspects of your life, often providing a perspective you didn’t have before.
